Looking for creative, interesting people

I am an American living in Finland, and as the headline says, I`m looking for creative, interesting people to spend some time with. I am in an integration program to learn Swedish and Finnish. The languages are coming along but not well enough to be able to fill all this information in, obviously. To get the bad stuff out of the way first: I arrived here in December 2005 to get married. In October 2007 it all went to hell, we`re getting divorced, and I have moved into the dorm rooms at my school. Almost 33 years old and I`m in the same life situation as I was when I was 18. Rock on. I am the writer and publisher of the heavy metal zine Lamentations of the Flame Princess (www. lotfp. com). It is my primary creative outlet and something that`s driven my life since I started it. It`s been going for nine full years now and it`s been a hell of a ride. I mention this because it`s a great example of my personality: When I enjoy something, I don`t just enjoy it. I have to get involved somehow. I have to learn all about it, its history, how it works, search out the most obscure examples, have contact with important people involved, become a part of it myself, and generally analyze it to death to see how it ticks. I`m not much into passive entertainment at all. And then I want to share that with other people. And I never do it with anything normal or popular. Heavy metal, professional wrestling, RPGs, That`s what I do, I find stuff that blows my mind, and then I want to share it with someone. And then I want to discuss it. So yeah, I`m looking for someone to share my interests with, and I`m looking for someone to introduce me to new interests. Most of all, I`m looking for someone to inspire me to do the things I love even better than I do them now. I`m not looking for anything really serious right now, and I`m not looking for casual flings either. I just want to be able to enjoy myself with someone and not have it feel like hard work.
